What is Future trading on FuturePro?
The crypto futures market is a market for trading "forward contracts" that FuturePro created to refer to the price of that crypto coin. Users can design more strategies than Spot trading (normal buy and hold). There are 2 types of Future trading contracts:
1. Long / Buy contract
Long contracts are similar to holding Spot coins: the more the price of the coin we contract increases, the more the Long contract will be worth. On the contrary, if the price of the coin we contract decreases, the value of our contract will decrease. This type of contract is suitable for making profits in a bullish market.
Sell / Short contract
Short contracts are the opposite of Long contracts: the more the price of the coin we contract increases, the less the value of the Short contract will increase. On the contrary, if the price of the coin we contract decreases, the value of our contract will increase. This type of contract is suitable for making profits in a bearish market or for hedging our investment portfolio.
